FEATURES OF VOLUNTEER ASSISTANCE FOR PEOPLE WITH VISUAL IMPAIREMENTS

Abstract

This article outlines the educational and methodological program of volunteer assistance for disabled people who can benefit from various public organizations and associations. Create volunteer groups, cooperate with local branches of the All-Russian Society of the Blind, with social services for disabled people, libraries for the blind, schools for blind and visually impaired children, kindergartens, rehabilitation centers, eye hospitals; Just make friends with people with disabilities in sight, spend time with them, go with them to performances, take them on hikes, etc.; Help specialists - typhlogologists change the attitude of society to people with visual impairments.
