Abstract

The speech therapy efficiency in case of aphasia is conditioned by a number of factors, including speech material, for selection and development of which we highlight criteria, such as linguistic
factors of the restored language, the patient’s age, his/her individual, national and cultural features, the emotional characteristics of speech material and the frequency of its usage. As a result of our survey, speech material with a high frequency of usage was identiï¬ ed and introduced in the article. It can be successfully applied in speech restoration of people with motor aphasia.
